The origin of Thai garlic fried rice
Thai garlic fried rice is a side dish you can find at Thai BBQ restaurant

Ingredients
- • 3 cups (overnight) cooked brown rice
- • 8 oz. cut firm / extra firm tofu
- • 1 cup steamed unshelled Edamame
- • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
- • 3 stalks chopped green onion
- • 1 tbsp olive oil butter
- • 1 tbsp olive oil
- • 3 tbsp gluten-free Tamari sauce
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a wok on medium high and add cut tofu and 1 tbsp tamari sauce, cook the tofu for couple minutes or until they turn slightly brown.
- Transfer tofu into a bowl.
- Use the same wok. Add olive butter into a wok.
- Add cooked brown rice and 2 tbsp Tamari sauce.
- Stir fry and break the rice with a spatula.
- Add tofu, Edamame and sty for 3-4 minutes, add chopped green onion and stir fry for a minute and turn off the stove.
Now your Thai garlic rice is ready....
