The origin of Thai garlic fried rice

 

 

Thai garlic fried rice is a side dish you can find at Thai BBQ restaurant

Ingredients
  • • 3 cups (overnight) cooked brown rice
  • • 8 oz. cut firm / extra firm tofu
  • • 1 cup steamed unshelled Edamame
  • • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • • 3 stalks chopped green onion
  • • 1 tbsp olive oil butter
  • • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • • 3 tbsp gluten-free Tamari sauce
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a wok on medium high and add cut tofu and 1 tbsp tamari sauce, cook the tofu for couple minutes or until they turn slightly brown.
  2. Transfer tofu into a bowl.
  3. Use the same wok. Add olive butter into a wok.
  4. Add cooked brown rice and 2 tbsp Tamari sauce.
  5. Stir fry and break the rice with a spatula.
  6. Add tofu, Edamame and sty for 3-4 minutes, add chopped green onion and stir fry for a minute and turn off the stove. 

 Now  your Thai garlic rice is ready....
